Criminal Investigation Division

Welcome to the Criminal Investigation Division of the Hampton County Sheriff's Office. Our dedicated team of skilled professionals is committed to upholding the law and ensuring the safety and security of our community through thorough and effective investigative work.

The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is responsible for conducting in-depth investigations into a wide range of criminal activities, including but not limited to homicides, sexual assaults, robberies, burglaries, and other serious offenses. Our detectives are highly trained and equipped with the latest tools and techniques to gather evidence, interview witnesses, and follow leads.

Our division works closely with other law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and community partners to ensure that justice is served and that perpetrators are held accountable for their actions. We are dedicated to providing support and closure to victims and their families throughout the investigative process.
